This project is to understand how access to healthcare for deaf and hard of hearing people could be improved.
Building on from the Self-Advocacy Toolkit developed in 2020, we have developed resources for use by deaf and hard of hearing people accessing the healthcare system including hospitals.
This resource is developed to assist healthcare professionals to enhance their ability to provide sufficient access for deaf and hard of hearing patients in the healthcare system.
